Beautiful Butterflies

Papercrafting isn’t just about cardmaking. Sometimes it’s fun to create a 3d project to display in your home, and these pretty butterfly stamps from AALL and Create (designed by Tracy Evans) were just what I needed.

I took a wooden embroidery hoop and painted it with pale blue and cream acrylic paint then set aside to dry while I did my stamping. The butterflies and hearts are stamped onto text print scrapbook paper from Kaisercraft.

Once the frame was dry I glued a circle of coordinating cardstock to the back to create my base. I used 3d gel glue to attach the stamped images to create dimension. I finished with a couple of stamped sentiments, matted onto patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed this project!!
