It’s time for a new challenge in The East Wind’s Facebook group. This month our theme is ‘Not Now…I’m Reading’ and we would like to see books, book characters or book text in your project. I have used a page from Alice In Wonderland as the background to the pretty Lucy Loo Alice character I have chosen to use. You can find her in the shop here.
I used Mod Podge to fix the book text to my journal page then once dry, added white gesso around the edges to blend. In also adding some patches of gesso sparingly on the page to create a patchy look. I let that dry and added red Dylusions paint – love the vibrant colours in this range!!
Alice is coloured with Polychromos pencils then carefull cut out and glued in place.
I added some doodling and text with a black fineliner and white gel pen.
