(If you are looking for the Smeared and Smudged May Blog Hop then please click here.)
Hello again – are you ready for a double dose of Thrilling Thursday inspiration this week? Before I share my projects, I want to give a warm welcome to our lovely new team members: Elena, Susanne, Kim, Karen and Doreen, I hope that you enjoy your time with us at Visible Image. These ladies are all stunningly talented so please take the time to click on their blogs (links are on the right).
Today I have used two of my favourite characters – Myrddin and Fae, and created box cards with them.
I used a Hougie board to create the box frames and die cut the aperture with an Xcut die.
The backgrounds were stamped with the Runic background stamp and embossed with Tea Dye Distress Embossing powder. I love the weathered effect you get with the Distress powders. I used several shades of brown and green Distress Ink to add subtle colour to the background.
I stamped Fae four times so I could decoupage her. She is coloured with Promarkers with some Stickles for some sparkle on her wings
Myrddin was also stamped and cut four times, then coloured with Promarkers.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing these wonderful characters today….there are new character stamp sets being made as you read this. I can’t wait to share them all with you!!!
