This gorgeous image is the Big Eye Poppy Elf from Aurorawings. I was lucky enough to win her the other week and couldn’t wait to get her coloured up and on a card.
My backing papers are from Graphic45’s Wizard of Oz collection and were the obvious choice for this card. I coloured the image with my Promarkers, cut it out and used 3d foam to mount it on the card.
I added some Cheery Lynn die cut corners and leafy flourishes. The flowers are punched, shaped and have a black gem in the centre.
I used a Marianne die to cut the fancy plaque, edging with Distress Ink before stamping the sentiment in the centre. The stamp is part of a set I have had for years by Stampattack.
Finally I added Cheery Lynn die cut butterfly – colouring it with the same shades I used on the digi, and a spotted bow which echoed the design on the backing paper.
