As a lot of you will have seen, this month’s copy of Papercraft Essentials has some pretty Lavinia Stamps as it’s cover gift. I have put them to use in this colourful card:
I stamped the fairy with black Versafine ink and cut her out adding some Stickles to her wings for a bit of sparkle. (This doesn’t show up very well in the picture unfortunately).
The main part of the card is made up of four layers with circles die cut in each of the top three layers. I used lots of Distress Inks to colour my card, blending with Cut and Dry foam.
The mushrooms are stamped on the bottom layer, and I surrounded them with the tiny stars. I added some gold Spritzing Ink for a pearly shine. I then stamped more tiny stars around the edge of each circle aperture and added some teeny tiny gems to a few of them so they would twinkle.
The top layer is misted with some black Spritzing spray and has the foliage stamp stamped around the top and hanging down the sides. I used the tiny dots to create the ground at the bottom, and stamped the verse at the top.
All the layers are attached with 3d foam for depth and then finally the fairy is mounted on 3d foam.
