Pretty In Pink

One of my favourite colour combinations is pink and brown. It manages to stay pretty and feminine without becoming too sickly sweet!

I can’t get enough of this polka dot card from Anna Marie Designs – it is so versatile and seems to go with everything! I used two shades of pink for this card and combined it with a leftover piece of pink and brown floral HOTP paper. I layered the floral paper onto some beige card and positioned it over the pale pink dotty card. I used my Nellie’s Multiframe Circle dies to cut the circle of dark pink dotty card and layered it onto a circle of brown card.

I’ve had these Magnolia Tilda and bench stamps for years and keep finding new ways to use them. I stamped them with black Memento ink and coloured the image with the following Promarkers:

Budding Rose, Rose Pink, Satin, Terracotta, Henna, Burnt Sienna, Blush, Dusky Pink

This is the first chance I’ve had to use my new Joanna Sheen Bunting Signature Die and I’m thrilled with it. I cut it out onto beige card and arranged it in the corner with 3d foam pads. I used another of my Anna Marie Designs sentiments and the lovely Hobby House paper roses to finish my card.
